Description
Selling here exceptionally fine Parmigiani Fleurier Ionica Hebdomadaire 8 Days in Rose Gold. Excellent overall condition, papers and original receipt.
Parmigiani Fleurier remains a quiet force in independent watchmaking, known for its high-end craftsmanship. Offered here is the Ionica Hebdomadaire 8 Days, Parmigiani’s first tonneau-case design, predating the Kalpa by two years. Launched in 1999 to showcase the brand’s newly developed in house Cal. PF110 with 8 days of power reserve.
The 18k rose gold case measures 45mm x 36mm and features the brand’s signature double-stepped knurled bezel, reminiscent of Art Deco and classical architecture. The dial is adorned with gold Breguet numerals, an 8-day power reserve at 12, small seconds at 6, and a date at 3, all brought together with elegant javelin hands.
Powering the watch is the manual-wind Cal. PF110, designed specifically for the tonneau case and visible through the sapphire caseback. With 8 days of power reserve and high-end finishing, it remains a technical achievement even by today’s standards.
A rare and underappreciated gem, the Ionica Hebdomadaire represents Parmigiani Fleurier at its most refined and innovative.
The watch in the photos is the actual watch you get. We use a strong macro lens for our photos which may make imperfections appear larger or worse than they actually are. International Delivery: all watch straps made out of exotic leather (alligator/crocodile/snake/skate/etc.) will be removed prior to shipping internationally (due to CITES regulations on endangered species).
