1. Payment Methods
- Payment should be made via bank wire in USD currency only. U.S. customers may also choose to pay via ACH transfer.
- We accept major stablecoins such as Tether (USDT) and USD Сoin (USDC).
- We can accept cash payments up to 10,000 USD. Any cash amount exceeding this threshold will require valid identification and the filing of IRS Form 8300, as mandated by federal regulations.
- We currently do not accept any credit cards or checks.
- HANDS AND DIALS, INC. will provide an invoice with full payment instructions for every sale. Your invoice will clearly list all additional charges for shipping, taxes, and other fees.
- You can request a short-term (30-day) reservation for any timepiece. To secure the reservation, you must pay a non-refundable deposit equal to 10% of the watch’s total price. If you do not pay the remaining balance within 30 days, we will cancel the hold and you will forfeit your deposit.
2. Taxes
- HANDS AND DIALS, INC. collects sales tax only for deliveries within Massachusetts..
3. Shipping
3.1 Domestic Shipping (USA):
- HANDS AND DIALS, INC. will ship “In-stock” items within two business days after receiving the payment.
- Expedited shipping with full insurance is free for all US buyers.
- Delivery for watches marked “Item needs to be procured” generally ranges from 5 to 15 days. Please confirm exact timing with us.. Rest assured, the watch pictured is the one you will receive.
- We ship all purchases via UPS or FedEx with 1- or 2-day delivery, and we require an adult signature upon receipt.
- We require an adult signature on all package deliveries for insurance purposes. Please note, we do not ship to P.O. boxes.
- Should you need to return an item, you will be responsible for the outbound shipping fees and any insurance costs covering the full value of the watch. We cannot be held liable for lost packages during the return or exchange process if they were not insured or if the insurance was insufficient.
- You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has shipped, allowing you to monitor the delivery date. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package, as additional shipping charges may apply after three unsuccessful delivery attempts.
- Refunds for lost or stolen packages will only be issued once our insurance provider approves the claim.
- If a shipment arrives damaged, inspect all boxes thoroughly before accepting them. The delivery agent must note any damage to cartons on the release form and refuse to accept the shipment if they do not record the damage. Notify us immediately so we can expedite your insurance claim.
3.2 International Shipping:
- HANDS AND DIALS, INC. will ship “In-stock” items within two business days after receiving the payment.
- We calculate shipping fees for international buyers based on their destination and add them to the invoice accordingly.
- Watches marked as “Item needs to be procured” are typically delivered within 15 days, with delivery times generally ranging from 5 to 15 days. Feel free to confirm the exact timing with us. Rest assured, the watch pictured is the one you will receive.
- We ship all purchases via express UPS or FedEx, fully insured and will require an adult signature upon delivery.
- We require an adult signature on all package deliveries for insurance purposes. Please note, we do not ship to P.O. boxes.
- HANDS AND DIALS, INC. will remove all watch straps made from exotic leathers (alligator, crocodile, snake, skate, etc.) before shipping internationally due to CITES regulations on endangered species.
- The buyer is responsible for any customs fees, local taxes, and other charges associated with the purchase in the destination country.
- All watches shipped to international buyers will be fully insured. We will not under-declare the value of any watches sold.
- Refunds for lost or stolen packages will only be issued once our insurance provider approves the claim.
- If a shipment arrives damaged, inspect all boxes thoroughly before accepting them. The delivery agent must note any damage to cartons on the release form and refuse to accept the shipment if they do not record the damage. Notify us immediately so we can expedite your insurance claim.
- If customs authorities reject your package in the destination country, or if delivery fails and HANDS AND DIALS, INC. receives the returned package for any reason, we will not cover shipping, insurance, or wire transfer fees. We will also charge a 25% restocking fee.
4. Warranty and Returns
4.1. Warranty
- HANDS AND DIALS, INC. warrants that all watches are authentic. However, since many of the timepieces we sell are vintage and may be pretty old, we do not offer extended service warranties. HANDS AND DIALS, INC. will not service movements except when necessary or as explicitly agreed. The buyer should be fully aware that the unique nature of vintage and rare timepieces may pose challenges in obtaining certain parts, which can sometimes limit repair possibilities.
- We sell all of our timepieces in AS-IS condition. Most of our timepieces are vintage and preowned, each with a rich history and decades of wear. To ensure your timepiece remains in optimal condition for years to come, proper care and maintenance are essential. We recommend regular servicing and cautious handling to preserve the integrity and value of these timeless pieces. For optimal performance and longevity, we strongly recommend a full overhaul at the buyer’s expense.
- We take great care in verifying the proper functioning of each timepiece and providing detailed descriptions along with high-quality photos to ensure that there are no surprises regarding its condition when you receive your purchase.
- Feel free to contact us if you require additional photos, videos, timegrapher testing results, or any other information needed to assess the condition of the timepiece. Please note that we use a macro lens for our photos, which may magnify imperfections and make them appear larger or more noticeable than they are in person.
- HANDS AND DIALS, INC. stands behind the authenticity of its products and offers a full refund for any watch found to be inauthentic.
4.2. Domestic Returns
- We offer a two-day return policy for in-stock watches, starting from the moment of delivery. Receiving the watch does not constitute a trial period. All of our timepieces undergo thorough documentation before shipment. We will deduct the corresponding amount from your refund for any signs of wear, handling, or damage upon return.
- Before you are certain you wish to keep the watch, please refrain from wearing it, disassembling it, polishing it, replacing the strap, or making any alterations. Watches must be returned with all original protective plastics, tapes, hang tags, and attached accessories, such as boxes, papers, and warranty cards (if applicable). All returns will be inspected, and any deviation from the original condition will result in the denial of the return.
- HANDS AND DIALS, INC. will issue a refund within seven business days of receiving the returned item. HANDS AND DIALS, INC. will thoroughly inspect each timepiece to ensure it is in the same condition as when it was shipped. Any deviation from the original condition will result in the denial of the return or a deduction from the total refund.
- HANDS AND DIALS, INC. will charge a 25% restocking fee on any watches marked with the “item needs to be procured” label.
- We will accept cancellations for orders that have not yet shipped and issue a full refund, excluding any applicable fees.
- If the customer chooses to return the watch for personal reasons and not due to any fault of the seller, the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, return shipping, and both incoming and outgoing wire transfer fees. These amounts will be deducted from the refund total before the return wire is issued.
4.3. International Returns
- We do not accept any returns from international buyers.
- We guarantee that all our watches are 100% authentic and not listed in stolen databases. If there are any issues with the watch you purchased, we will promptly address them on a case-by-case basis. Your satisfaction is our top priority.
- We will accept cancellations for orders that have not yet shipped and issue a full refund, excluding any applicable fees.
5. Choice of Law
- This Agreement is executed and delivered in the State of Massachusetts, USA, and shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Massachusetts. HANDS AND DIALS, INC. reserves the right to change the terms and conditions without prior written or expressed notice.
- We strictly adhere to all relevant domestic and international laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure full compliance in every aspect of our operations. This commitment includes accurate representation of our products, secure handling of transactions and personal data, and proper shipping practices, all aimed at providing you with a seamless and trustworthy experience.
- HANDS AND DIALS, INC. reserves the right to update terms and conditions; continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
6. Agreement to Terms and Conditions
- By purchasing from HANDS AND DIALS, INC., you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined above. These terms govern your use of our services, the purchase of products, and any other interactions with our company. We strongly recommend that you review these terms carefully before completing any transaction.
- HANDS AND DIALS, INC. reserves the right to refuse any order placed with us for any reason. HANDS AND DIALS, INC. will not consider your order accepted until we ship the products, regardless of any order confirmation or other communication.
